The Sky's the Limit 20"x 20"

Hollyhocks have always been one of my favrorite flowers, but one I haven't had much success in growing.  That makes me appreciate their tall, beautiful stalks and delicate, bright petals even more.  This is paper collage, not a painting.  Paper randomly painted with acrylic paints have been torn, cut and glued to the matboard substrate.  The finish is matte. The Sky's the Limit was accepted into the 2020 Athena Juried Art Exhibition at Lourdes University.  20" x 20", paper collage, black frame without glass so you can see and feel the interesting texture.
